Patrick Huard is a corporate partner in Morrison & Foerster’s San Francisco office. Mr. Huard focuses his practice on representing private equity firms and their portfolio companies in a broad range of corporate matters, including public and private acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, venture and growth equity investments, and divestitures.
Mr. Huard regularly represents clients in transactions covering a variety of industries, including technology, financial services, professional services, and consumer products. Prior to joining Morrison & Foerster LLP, Mr. Huard was a corporate partner at Kirkland & Ellis LLP, where he advised private equity clients in all aspects of their business. Mr. Huard graduated, magna cum laude, from the Georgetown University Law Center in 2003, where he was elected into the Order of the Coif and served as the Notes and Articles Editor of the Journal of Law and Policy in International Business.

As Managing Director at H.I.G. Growth Partners, John focuses primarily on Internet, media and technology investments. He currently serves on the boards of Batanga, Escalate Media, Funambol, Go2mobi, LuLu*s, RxStrategies and SpotXchange and formerly served on the board of REVShare and Triad Retail Media.
Previously, John was a co-founder, interim CEO and board director of Cooligy, a semiconductor cooling manufacturer started by three Stanford professors, backed by top-tier venture capital firms and acquired by Emerson Electric (NYSE:EMR). He also was the COO of a 100+ person eCommerce portal, General Manager of a semiconductor equipment manufacturer and Business Development Director at a product development software company. He began his career at Booz, Allen & Hamilton where he consulted on operations strategy to Fortune 500 companies.
Education: John received an M.S. and B.S. with Phi Beta Kappa honors in Industrial Engineering from Stanford University and an M.B.A. degree with distinction from Harvard Business School.

Dipanjan (DJ) Deb is a Founding Partner and the Chief Executive Officer of Francisco Partners. Prior to founding Francisco Partners in 1999, DJ was a Principal with Texas Pacific Group. Earlier in his career, he was Director of Semiconductor Banking at Robertson, Stephens & Company and a management consultant at McKinsey & Company. DJ currently serves on the board of GoodRx, Ichor Systems, and Plex Systems.
He formerly served on the board of directors of AMI Semiconductor (AMIS), Barracuda (CUDA), CBA Group, Cross Match Technologies, Legerity, MagnaChip, Metrologic, NPTest/Credence (CMOS), Numonyx, SMART Modular Technologies (SMOD), Ultra Clean Technology (UCTT), Conexant (CNXT), Globespan (GSPN), and ON Semiconductor (ONNN).

Dave Welsh |Managing Director & Global Head of TMT Growth Equity | KKR
Dave Welsh joined KKR in 2016 as a Managing Director and Global Head of TMT Growth Equity. Dave was previously with Adams Street Partners where he was a Partner on the growth equity team, with a focus on enterprise technology. After joining Adams Street in 2008, he led several successful investments and recruited, built and managed a team of investment professionals.
Prior to this, Dave served as Chief Strategy Officer and Executive VP of Business Development and Corporate Strategy at McAfee, Inc. Previously he was Partner at Partech Ventures and was part of the founding team of Portal Software, Inc., where he was VP of Corporate Development.
Education: Dave received a J.D. from UC Berkeley and Harvard Law Schools and a B.A. in International Economics from UCLA.
